Yes—WOWPASS works in Busan. Shop payments use the WOWPASS balance; supported buses, metro and light rail use its separate Tmoney balance. Choose the correct Gimhae pickup package before booking.

A separate top-up is needed. This is not an unlimited-ride pass.

Pay at supported Busan shops

Use the WOWPASS payment balance at supported offline shops, cafés and restaurants by inserting the IC chip. The card is not a way to pay for Klook bookings online. Check your balance and current fees in the official app.

Busan transit uses Tmoney

Busan City lists Tmoney as compatible with Busan public transport, the Donghae line and light rail. Top up the Tmoney balance separately, then tap at readers. Loading the WOWPASS payment balance does not automatically load Tmoney.

Choose CU pickup or machine redemption

Klook lists separate WOWPASS-machine redemption and Incheon/Busan Gimhae airport CU-counter pickup packages. A machine voucher is not a CU pickup voucher. Confirm the selected package, eligibility and redemption instructions before paying.

Gimhae International Terminal pickup

WOWPASS’s Gimhae CU guide lists the International Terminal, 1F, near arrival gate 1, with daily pickup hours of 06:00–22:00. This is counter pickup, not a promise of an airport kiosk. Your selected voucher’s location and hours take priority.

Eligibility and separate tickets

The linked Klook offer excludes Korean passport holders. KTX, reserved transport and attraction tickets remain separate purchases. Do not confuse WOWPASS with VISIT BUSAN PASS. Check any included balance rather than assuming the card arrives preloaded.

Find machines and manage the card

Register the card in the official WOWPASS app, check nearby machine services and hours, and follow the current top-up and loss-protection instructions. For Tmoney, follow the app guide or use supported KRW-cash top-up points.

Questions before booking

Can I use WOWPASS in Busan?

Yes. Its payment balance works at supported offline merchants; its separate Tmoney balance works on compatible Busan public transport. It is not an unlimited transport pass.

Are WOWPASS and Tmoney the same balance?

No. They are separate balances on one card. Check and top up Tmoney before boarding; topping up WOWPASS alone does not automatically top up Tmoney.

Can I collect any WOWPASS voucher at Gimhae CU?

No. Select the airport CU-counter pickup package. Machine-redemption vouchers use a different process. Follow your booked voucher’s exact location, hours and eligibility.
